“If you want to stay near the pier and good restaurants this is the place to stay. Room 407 had an amazing view of the pier. Friendly staff. Private entrance to The Spot, which is one of our go to places to eat. Has a small play area for the kids. Good pool for the kids too. Doesn't have any shade on the pool though. Cons: not only do you have to pay for parking, the parking garage is actually behind the building across a street. I mean its helpful that its in a garage to block out the TX heat.……

“Only 2 elevators one was out of service,hotel was at capacity. Room cleaned only once with a 5 day stay. Could only have 3 towels per room no more. Yes, close to beach but hotel was not worth the $ that we paid, looked outdated. Pictures on website not accurate. Parking full and not secured for vehicles. Not recommended!”

“Amenities and staff were GREAT!! Ivy, the facility is pretty dated. Our room had lower water pressure than we have ever experienced. Hot & cold water pressure at the sink was very low, and the shower water pressure was barely enough to get rinsed off. My hair is very short and even I had to really concentrate to get it rinsed; I don’t know how my wife ever got hers rinsed out. Besides the extremely low water pressure, everything else was great!!”

“For the cost per day of the hotel room did not meet our expectations. Rooms are out dated and have not changed since the 1st time we booked them 15 years ago. We are a Landrys club member.”

“The hotel itself is pretty nice, however the parking was a bit on an inconvenience, elevators were not working, front desk staff was not helpful and I was given a queen bed when booked for a kingsize.”

“Cleaning staff was very nice, other stuff not friendly. The resort looks nicer on pics, bartender at the swim up bar wasn’t really friendly and killed the vibes at times”

“This was an older property, but very clean,well maintained ,helpful staff and all the amenities that you would need. Best of all able to park if staying night before departure of cruise.”
