“It was clean, comfortable, the AC worked great and the staff was great!
This is an older motel and needs renovation. Having said that, you must remember that you are in one of the most remote places in the US with Mexico about 5 miles from you (as the crow flies). We were out of the room and exploring most of the time. I was concerned about noise from the highway, but we were there mid-week and had no issue. The motel offers a discounted breakfast buffet at the diner next door- which we didn't……

“The location is only 4 minutes drive to Big Bend which is a big plus for us.
We stayed there 4 nights, and the host is responsive and keep the trash in our room cleaned every day. The check in and check out thrue texting is also convenient for us because we check in late and check out early thanks to the smart door lock.
The layout is practical and in room appliances (microwave, fridge, hair blower) are also help us staying in there for easy breakfast and dinner.
Overall, I recommend this……

“The place was very clean, and as listed had pretty complete kitchen which we enjoyed. Bedrooms are a bit tight but we managed. Experienced record heat but ac worked great! Good location for visit to Big Bend. We should’ve stayed 2 nights. ”
