"We recently visited Big Bend National Park and stayed here, and honestly, the experience was incredible. From the moment we arrived, the energy of the place felt welcoming and calm—like walking into a real home. The barndominium was extremely well stocked with essentials, thoughtfully set up, and genuinely comfortable.The views were beautiful, and the amenities were amazing—hot tub, grill, and everything you could possibly need right there. It’s about an hour and a half from Big Bend National Park and roughly 45 minutes from Terlingua, which made it a perfect location.Everything was easy and self-explanatory, and it was even decorated for Christmas, which made our stay extra special since we were there with family and little kids. It added such a magical touch to the trip.Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay."

"I had a great stay at the Terlingua Ranch Lodge! The bed was comfortable and the shower had hot water with good pressure, which is nice after a day of hiking in Big Bend National Park. The lodge is about 1.5 hours away from any hikes that you’ll want to do in the park, but the views are amazing and worth the drive. The rooms have a microwave and fridge, but no televisions, which is nice and gives you an off the grid experience that I enjoy from time to time. The restaurant had great food and quick service and we even got to enjoy some live music for our dinner one evening! I would absolutely stay here again and hope I can one day."

"I booked this trip for my husband and our 3 adult children( 21,21, 23) home from college. I wanted them to enjoy themselves right before Christmas. I was told how wonderful their experience had been. Everything went so well. Communication was wonderful, directions easy, the set up was clean and comfortable, and the feeling was like visiting family. After the long days of hiking they enjoyed the hot tub for sure. The abundance of wild live was very welcoming. My family loved the interaction with the hosts and the helpful advice and information they shared. "

"Amazing location right outside the national park. So many thoughtful touches to make the place enjoyable - beautiful garden, Adirondack chairs, hot tub, etc.Bedding is comfortable. Kitchen has everything you need. Host was responsive. We would absolutely stay here again."

"A great stay in a beautiful setting. Perfect place to come home to after our days hiking in Big Bend NP. The state park was also fantastic! Loved the many views from the porch, the local wildlife, and seeing the Milky Way nightly. Enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. We hope to return!!!"
