"The room was clean and comfortable, and the fridge and the microwave worked. So did the air conditioner, still useful in late September! The lodge is convenient to many of the best hikes in Big Bend. The nearby store is well-stocked for a National Park store. With the exception of a power outage (of the whole park!) my last night there, everything was perfect. I would stay there again in a heartbeat, and I expect to!"

"The location was perfect! So easy to go into Big Bend. The place was cute and had everything we needed. The hosts were phenomenal. We did leave something important behind and the hosts were in communication with us and was able to ship it back to us. Extremely grateful for their prompt response!"

"Let first start with saying this property is a hidden gem. It's centrally located to everything in Terlingua, your never more than 10 min from everything you will need. My host Daryl was very easy to communicate with and responsive with all my questions. The view of the creek from the front porch at sunset or sunrise was perfect, I highly recommend enjoying a cup of coffee or a beer while soaking up the natural beauty around you. The cabin is overly well stocked with pretty much everything you'll need except food of course. The property is super simple to find day or night. Most importantly the view of the night sky and the Milky Way are just steps out the front door. If you're looking for a place to unwind and reset this this place is for you."
