“We loved our stay at Hotel Palazzo Achates. The location was within easy walking distance to the main restaurant and shopping area. There are a couple of great lively spots just around the corner from the hotel than we would stop for a drink. Our room was clean and looked newly renovated. We appreciated the patio for a little quiet time after our busy days. Communication with the staff was quick and helpful. We would stay here again,”

“This property was delightful. Room was clean and well laid out with nice amenities, including some unexpected desserts in the afternoon. It was in a great location just off of Via Maqueda. There was a working elevator (we only used with luggage). Balcony had room for 2. We never met the host, Francesco, who interacted via Expedia and WhatsApp, but he was always attentive and quick to assist. He also provided superb instructions for accessing the property. “Die Gastgeber waren wirklich unglaublich herzlich und hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns zu jeder Zeit angeboten, uns zu einem beliebigen Ort zu fahren. Sei es zum Strand, nach Palermo oder Cefalu, kein Problem. Der Gastgeber ist wirklich wie ein eigener Taxi und steht für alles zu jeder Zeit offen zur Verfügung, wirklich toll. Die Ferienwohnung ist von außen bis innen komplett sauber, neu, schön und es gibt keinen Lärm von irgendwelchen Nachbarn. Generell waren alle Leute im Umfeld wirklich nett und……

“Helt perfekt läge supernära centrumgatorna, en kort bit upp på en tvärgata vilket gör att det är nära men ändå lugnt. Ingen personal i receptionen men går att nå via WhatsApp. Badkar inne i sovrummet men mer snyggt än praktiskt. Kaffemaskin på rummet men vår funkade inte trots att de försökte laga den. Som tur var fann en maskin även i korridoren. Dåligt med förvaringsplats och inga krokar att hänga nåt på. Inget att sitta på förutom sängen. Går inte att tända sänglamporna separat vilket gör att……

“A good postion in town but extremely noisy on the Friday night. Kettle didn't work, code to enter the property didn't work and the sad little sachet of shampoo/body wash provided was a joke. We had to go and buy soap. Worst of all , the host insisted we pay cash for the city tax even though as travellers we had none. We were expected to go find an ATM. Ridiculous in this day and age.”

“Wonderful place with new amenities and well maintained, located near the train. Our only issue was the noise, we were not able to sleep and needed to get a room elsewhere for the second night of our two night stay.”
