“We were a bit confused by this hotel. This is a luxury boutique hotel that didn’t really feel like a luxury hotel. The staff were nice which is expected but didn’t go out of their way for us. The location is excellent and our room had a beautiful view of the Portofino piazza but the windows all had signs saying “please keep windows closed”. Our room furnishings were standard. “This is a beautiful property with direct access to the beach although it’s quite a trek down a large flight of steps. Beautifully manicure gardens though. Breakfast was amazing also. The one thing that I found surprising is that the walls and ceilings seem a little bit thin. We could hear footsteps and other noise from the room above us very clearly.”

The room was beautiful and clean with an amazing view of the gardens and pool area,
Breakfast was exceptional and all the staff were very attentive to our needs.
Overall a beautiful hotel and amazing staff. Although this was a 3 star hotel, in our opinion it's was 4 star +.
