“Las Catalinas Coronado was a very pleasant. The staff were friendly and were more then accommodating when it came to putting up with our lack of speaking Spanish. With the help of Google translate we both made it work. The room was small but nice and clean. There was a patio area with a hammock out from that was private and peaceful. “The home/property was perfectly comfortable for our group of 4 adults, a toddler and a dog. Communication with the owner was prompt and he was very accommodating to our needs. The weather didn't give us the opportunity to check out the beach, the community or use the pool, but it was wonderfully relaxing to sit on the huge covered patio enjoying the sight/sounds of rain and the natural environment. Very much recommend if you're looking for a getaway from the city!”

I took a San Carlos coaster from Albrook and was a short walk from the bus stop to the hotel. With a few malls closeby and plenty of restaurants in the area, I was able to find everything I needed. “We were the only ones there (it's a small place with only 3 cabanas), and it was absolutely perfect. We found it on a whim after bailing on our other accommodations, as the town where we were was unbearably hot. When we drove up into the hills using the excellent directions they sent, we arrived to a cool breeze, a pool all to ourselves, very friendly service, and a spectacular view. Our only regret is that we didn't stay there in the first place! It's truly a hidden gem!”

“Unique stay for sure. We stayed in one of the smaller “containers”. It was fine for us, others might find it tight. The larger units looked like they had some dining area and a bit more space. A few extra hooks on the wall or in the very tiny bathroom would be nice for towels. The first floor units are great for pool side, second floor units have a porch but you have to go around the building to access your door. A few extra chairs on the first floor entry decks would be nice as we had to……

“The villa has everything needed, super clean, well mantained and in a quiet area. We loved. All staff at the property were very kind and helpful. What to say about the villa's view? Just amazing, sand & sea just a few steps. Internet wifi stopped to work, but this wasn't a issue for us, as the plan was to rest and disconnect from the world. ”

At this time we were told that only 4 people were allowed at a time at the pool area, however, we saw families of up to 6 people including kids at the pool and no one questioned them.”
