“We’ve stayed here for one night. The receptionist is quite friendly, small terrace water front view is good however there are lots of fly at front door of room. It’s scary as we need to open/close door quickly, otherwise the fly will run into room. When I talked with the female receptionist, she said they also feel weird but nothing there to attract fly though. All we can do is using the mosquito racket to catch fly…. “The location was fantastic to the pier. There is a cross walk right in front of the hotel so is super helpful in order to cross the main coast hwy. We love the beach being so close it’s perfect. The pier is very cool for dock jumping on one side and crabbing and fishing on the opposite. We meet so many great people at the pier as well. “The manager was fantastic. Very friendly and welcoming, even though we came in late. This building really was the old court house and each room in the building, from the 1910s or so, has been converted. The decor, strangely enough, reminds you of Asia or perhaps Asian fascination from that period of time. “The room was a nice size with a fridge and a microwave (with a splatter cover) so it was easy to make a simple breakfast and lunch. We used the bbq- they had bbq tools we could’ve used and the bbq was clean. We enjoyed the mini golf and the specialty drinks as well as the water machine- it was hot so the ice cold water was appreciated. The towels were so soft and huge. Staff was friendly. ”
