"Amazing and above and beyond. Read the true story. My sister has terminal cancer and decided that she would like to stay at Sea edge for as long as possible She lives locally, but loves the view at The motel. Some family had a getogether twice in the last 10 days. The first time we enjoyed the very comfortable lounge playing cards and singing. We wanted to duplicate this fun time including a few friends on Feb 11. Within that week her condition worsened a bit and she rented an electric wheel chair to get around It turns out the access to the lounge does not have accessible option for a wheelchair. I spoke with the staff, sorry forgot exact name,maybe Perna about our problem.She spoke with higher ups and wouldn't you know it, they built a wheelchair ramp for her.Wow going above and beyond I would say. My sister was unable to leave her bed that evening and was unable to try the wheelchair ramp so we all just went to her room instead and had a wonderfull time. I have stayed here twice now and all the staff I have met are so very nice. The rooms are awesome including the perfect large screen tv. The lounge has board games, a small pool table, a practice putting green, electric fireplace,restroom and fabulous coffee machine at no charge. The 2 gazebo on the beach have gas fire pits and no charge to use them. The beds are comfy, the room was large and an actual table 2 use for cards or whatever. Thank you so much great Job"

"Crown Isle always has phenomenal customer services; a variety of rooms from hotel rooms regular rooms to quaint beautiful cottages; the housekeeping staff does an amazing and thorough job with the cleanliness and presentation of the room upon arrival. We don’t stay anywhere else in the Comox Valley when everything from a massage therapist, to golf, to delicious food in the Timber Room. Highly recommended!"

"We were a bit hesitant to book this resort based on some of the previous Expedia and Google Reviews I read, but we are so glad that we did! The property is absolutely beautiful and well kept — the walkway to the tent houses is so well maintained and so fun at night. We stayed in the cabin suite with an ocean view and it was perfect and very cozy for a chilly and rainy Feb weekend. Great for couples looking for a getaway. The bathroom was wonderful and nicely renovated with a rain shower. We also loved the inclusion of a fireplace. I didn't find any issues with the cleanliness of the place - bedding was fresh and we did not have any issues. My only comment is that the parking was a bit of a disaster. My partner and I decided to get dinner in Sechelt in the evening and someone came and took the parking spot in front of our cabin (we were directed to take the spot directly in front of our cabin by the staff) so we had to park our car elsewhere overnight, which was an inconvenience. Also, it seems like early check-in is discouraged, so make sure you arrive at 4pm or later. Overall, lovely stay and we'll be back."
