"The hotel offers spacious rooms, a very large pool, and an excellent gym. We specifically booked it for the gym, and it fully met our expectations. The rooms are modern and comfortable, though the overall property shows some signs of age. Unfortunately, the beach area / sunbeds are poorly maintained and does not match the quality of the rest of the facilities. Service was also disappointing. We waited over 30 minutes for our luggage to be delivered to the room, only to find it still sitting waiting. We eventually carried it ourselves, and when we raised the issue, staff showed little concern."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Nai Yang Beach and couldn’t have asked for a better place to enjoy Phuket. The resort is beautiful, exceptionally clean and well maintained, with stunning views and a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. The food was fantastic, with a great choice of restaurants and dining options — every meal was a pleasure. What really made our stay special, though, was the warm, kind and genuinely helpful staff. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome and looked after. A very special shout-out to Mr J-Ro at the Lounge Bar, whose fantastic service and amazing coffees made our visits there particularly enjoyable. His attention to detail, friendliness and professionalism really stood out. ☕️👏 The only small negative for us was that the beds are quite small for two people, which could be improved, especially for longer stays. Apart from that, we had an amazing time in Phuket, and the resort was a big part of what made our holiday so enjoyable. We would happily return and highly recommend Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Nai Yang Beach to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing and welcoming resort in Phuket. "We absolutely loved our stay at Merlin - in fact we are still here as we extended our stay with the hotel because we decided we didn’t need to go anywhere else for a truly magical and relaxing stay. We feel immersed in nature - surrounded by incredibly beautiful trees and we saw a slow loris during our night tour! The pools are so lush with vegetation all around them - we spent hours just milling around in what felt like a jungle pool, complete with waterfalls! The staff are all so lovely and super attentive, but with the most relaxed and easy going manner. I found myself quite envious of the people who work here - they honestly seem to be very happy in their work and well looked after. We didn’t go all inclusive and slightly regret that, as it wasn’t a lot more on top and means that, even if you only eat here half the time, it will probably be worth it. We are already trying to figure out when we can come back! Thank you so much everyone at Merlin - we will see you again as soon as possible! 😊"
