"Older family hotel, nothing fancy....BUT...friends and I have made many, many beach trips over the years and this is our go-to spot. Front desk staff is very friendly: Pamela has been there forever it seems like. Very accommodating. The rooms are basic but VERY clean. They've done some repairs and renos in last few years. My bathroom had a new toilet, sink and vanity, and new floor tile. Unit has a fridge and microwave. Hotel is on the beach, my room was ocean front. You walk out and across the little bridge across the dunes and you're on the beach. Very affordable, too. Right next door to 2nd Ave. Pier and Wicked Tuna Restaurant, close to everything in central Myrtle Beach. Very affordable."
