“My son and I had a wonderful stay at the end of October! Despite the rainy days, we found plenty of board games to keep us busy and then explored the area once the weather improved. This property was the absolute cleanest rental we have ever seen! We found everything we needed, and it made our stay so relaxing. Such a cute house, and my son enjoyed checking on the goats next door. The beach just down the road as well as Newport State Park were so convenient and beautiful places to visit. Kick……

“We had a nice stay here with 3 adults and our dog. Everything was as described. I have mobility issues, and much of the reason for choosing this booking was that it is all on one level. I was able to get around with my walker in the cabin. I will say that I did have some unavoidable difficulty with the front steps to enter, which could be improved by the addition of a handrail and possibly even a ramp, but this doesn't affect my rating, as it was a known factor when choosing the listing. “We were slightly nervous about booking this cottage before it had any reviews, but I'm sure glad we did! It was exactly what we were looking for. We like to be away from the crowds, but close enough to civilization to eat out if we want, so the location was perfect. The cottage is surrounded by trees so it is very private. We enjoyed kayaking, swimming, catching crawfish, bon fires, star gazing, fishing at the cedar river harbor, and watching the wildlife. We even saw a gray fox with little ones……

Enjoyed coffee on the pier in the morning and utilized the bikes to ride around town in the afternoon. If the wind died down we would have loved to sit by the fire as well! Our family really enjoyed the pie so much that they all requested the bakery information 😂. Would love to return in the future!”
