"Our room was very disappointing, obviously been a leak at the window and a large water stain under the window. As for the showerroom it needed a good clean, dust on the skirting boards and corner of the room, crack in the sink and as for the shower itself, it was disgusting with black mould around the silicon on the shower tray and tge water was roasting hot which could not be regulated. Not the comfiest of beds. Large water stain on the wall/ceiling going up to our room. The breakfast was ok however have never stayed in a hotel where there is no toast being offered along with your tea/coffee. Very disappointing for a 3/4* hotel. Wont be going back "

"Location was ideal for train and bus access. The hotel is old and the rooms are old and in need of updating but our room was clean. The common areas (reception and restaurant) were updated at some point. They do provide a nice breakfast and food was fresh and hot. Staff were very pleasant and helpful "

"We always stay at the Sandman Hotel when we're in Aberdeen as we absolutely love it! We were part of a large group staying for my 40th birthday celebration and everyone really enjoyed their stay. "

"The single room was small, but not too cramped and had all that I needed. The staff were helpful arranging a boxed breakfast when plans changed to a very early start before the restaurant opened at 6.30am."

"Very nice reception. The staff were lovely with most being down to earth. The single beds are quiet big for the standard size which was a lovely surprise. The buffet breakfast was nice with alot to offer. The only complaint is that the lift is tiny for accomodating 4 people and luggage. An all round great stay. "
