The staff made our stay. Everyone we encountered from front desk to restaurant servers were fabulous.
The hotel overall was pleasant. If I needed to stay in this area again i would. Neighbkrhood has seen better days.

Staff was great.
Breakfast was good — much better than American continental breakfasts but not as good as German or Italian breakfasts which are outstanding.
The doors slam very loudly so I could hear anytime anyone was coming and going on my floor.

Excellent place to stay. Best value of the 6 places we visited in Scotland. Loved the photos in the lobby of the history of the hotel and Aberdeen. Did the bus tour around Aberdeen - very beautiful architecture everywhere. Also, live music in the hotel pub every night and we took full advantage of that.

The reception staff were very helpful in advising how to use the hotel avoiding the chargeable zones which are number recognition and a fine is sent. We managed to get a space a short distance away avoiding these zones.
We liked our room. Really decent price for a Saturday night. Surrounded by bars and food options in ship row
