“I was a little concerned as we entered the community as one of the security gates was broken allowing anyone in and out of the area without requiring a security code. The black numerals on the house against dark brown wood were hard to find as we arrived after dark. The interior of the home is beautiful! There seem to be a couple outlets in the kitchen without power to them or possibly a circuit breaker issue? While the listing states it will sleep 10, there are only 3 bedrooms. The master……

“The home is spacious, and was very clean. We traveled with 2 adults and 3 teens. There was plently of cooking gear in the kitchen for making big meals, which we always do. The beds were comfortbale- there are so many beds in this house I lost count! Two big couches, lots of room for everyone to spread out. A wonderful screened in porch area. Upper and lower level decks were beautiful. Plenty of hot water. Some big flatheads in that cove, fishing right off the dock. They like garlic and red……

“Great long weekend get away with my sons. Perfect setup for a family guys weekend. Enjoyed this super comfortable cabin that supplied the perfect mix of privacy and community for my grown sons to spend some quality family time.”

“It was exactly what I was looking for, for my birthday and we took our german shepherd and he loved it. The river is right there and I went in November and the weather was perfect for fall.”

“I have family that lives in Fayetteville, so we needed a place that was close to town, could accommodate three people, with a place to sleep and shower. This cabin fit our needs perfectly. (Within 4 miles of our family, the beds were comfortable, and the cabin was exremely clean) Even though there were other people staying on the grounds and using the fire pit location, once we were inside the cabin, it was perfectly silent and you couldn’t hear anything going on outside.”

“This house is is SO cute and cozy.it is by itself in the country but still close to Lynchburg. The bed slept good and everything was clean. I loved the fireplace. Plenty of linens were provided. I can’t say enough about this place. It is a rare gem. We come to Lynchburg every year and I wished we would have found this sooner. We will definitely stay again!”

“A group of Sewanee graduates got together for events on campus as well as activities in the area. The home is conveniently located to everything planned. The ample number of bedrooms and bathrooms gave all of us plenty of privacy. The property owners were responsive within minutes when a question was submitted. Will personally seek out this property again and recommend it to others needing a nice and casual accommodations.”
