"We liked our stay because of the location of the hotel and the caffe place next to it. My family loved this hotel overall but the value for the money was not great. When we got there after 4pm our room was not ready for another 20mins which was super inconvenient after long flights for over 20hrs. The sofa bed for our daughter after it was set up barely fit to the point where we couldn’t even get around it walking back to the front door. We also were missing sheets for that sofa bed so we had to wait again for them to be delivered before she could take a nap. Hard to find any extra wall outlets to charge your phone too. Otherwise the hotel is super cool, clean and comfortable. The cafe place next to it is excellent too with great breakfast, food and coffee. We would not pay 600$ per night again but overall it was very nice to be walking 2-3 mins distance from all the restaurants and old town."

"Lovely staff in reception, 6th September man was lovely checking us in and 7th September really kind guy helpful with luggage not part of the reception staff. Clean throughout but rooms run down could have a good refresh as carpets feel dirty and older. Otherwise great gym and location!"

"Friendly staff, and I liked the location, a bit out of the way, but walkable. Loved the room names. My only quibble was the flight of stairs needed to get to an elevator. I managed, but it would create challenge for people with mobility issues."

"So, the initial checkin was a bit on the cold side and the initial room that they gave us had some issues that made it less than what I would have expected from a 4 star property of Mercure. But, we ended up speaking with one of the guest service people, Patricia, who really was a guest service person. She listened to what we had to say and seemed to take our constructive comments seriously. In the end, they changed our room and the stay ended up to be a very nice, comfortable stay. So, her service was outstanding and hopefully her performance and care will be observed and followed by other staff."
