“Excellent location within Stadium MK - I stayed for the marathon event and great for this purpose - some shops and plenty of restaurants in the area - I ate in the Pitchside lounge - parking was £10 for 24 hours which was reasonable (hotel guest special price) - I had breakfast included with my booking - this did not seem to be on their reservation for me and I was asked on a couple of separate occasions if I wanted to add and pay for breakfast which was a little frustrating as I had shown at……

“Lovely pub, lovely people, rooms were clean and comfy beds, but unfortunately the traffic is super loud, cars beeping on the round about under our window every 2 minutes in the morning, and for some reason the bathroom started really stinking of sewers through the night and was pretty unbearable in the morning! I didn’t mention it to any staff as I wasn’t feeling great in the morning so I hope they read this quickly so they can investigate the problem! Many thanks for your hospitality ☺️”

“An older property, but well maintained and fully functional. 1st floor rooms had sloping ceiling which impacted space a little. Adjacent to a very popular BBQ restaurant, which meant busy car parking area. Hotel on a lake with long walks possible on paved walkways, complete with abundant aquatic fowl to watch.”

“The room was a little tired and dirty. The bathroom has not been cleaned well. There were hairs in the tub and marks/dirt on the toilet seat and around the sink area. The front desk staff were pleasant enough, though at check in I was told I owed £40 but I’d already paid the full amount. The redeeming part was the breakfast- good food and friendly staff. ”

“When I eventually managed to check in I found that my room smelt funny. The windows were open so I guessed that the smell may have come from the outside. There was no staff at the guest house for me to speak to. When I returned to the room after getting some food I found that the smell was coming from the damp mattress and the smell I believed was urine. I rung the contact number I had, but nobody answered. There was no staff at the venue. It was too late to go anywhere else so I ended up……

“Check in was terrible, I arrived about 11pm, no one was there apart from a note on the door to call a central receptionist who then WhatsApped the codes to get in and to get my room key. Couldn’t find my room and had to call back to be told I was in another building. Had trouble finding the right door to get in the next building and then had no code for that building and had to cal back again. Parking was in the dark and payment machines were to dark to see Room was ok but not the best but……
