「Given the location, most of the clients of the hotel seem to be people in the mining industry, so the hotel doesn't have a "tourist" vibe. The town itself doesn't offer much more than for an overnight stop, although there is an interesting tour into a major iron mine on some days of the week. The breakfast was quite ample (have to keep miners well fed) and even included omelet on order.」

「Externally the property has old world charm, but the accomodation was very modern at the rear of the building. I asked for an Ocean View which was great, sadly it meant climbing 2 double flights of stairs wuth the luggage. Parking was under the property. A washer /dryer was available in the bathroom, we just didn't need it. Lively bar/restaurant area with delicious food and cheerful attentive staff. Close to the beach if you fancy a walk, and explore the modern town.」

「On arrival the receptionist was friendly and efficient. The apartment was well maintained and offered plenty of facilities if we had stayed more than the one night. We chose to eat in town at lunchtime, whilst visiting the shopping centre. Plenty of shopping options if you want. Went to Hearsons Cove , 25 minute drive north of town for a picnic and watch the sunset. Wish I'd taken a towel. Would stay here again.」
