「The pool and spa were over chlorinated. Most of the jets didn't work. I had escargot gratinee at the restaurant. It was terrible. Oily and the cheese was extremely low quality. I mentioned it to the waitress but nothing was done to remedy the situation. The main course was shrimp and two were not fresh and the rest were severely overcooked. For 100$, i was expecting a 5 star meal.」

「The first room I had there were ants crawling all over the walls everywhere. The whirlpool tub didn't work also. So my first night was not pleasant at all...the next day I went to the administration and they changed my room for a bigger room right next door...no ants and the jet tub worked. I was actually happy the tub didn't work as my room was changed on this account but the ants was not a spring time issue there's a nest under the patio door as that was the location they were entering from....

「Owner had not checked that he had reservations for the day before we arrived. Room was very cold and very slow to warm up. Few commodities. As far as I am concerned, the place is not suited to stay during winter. Way more expensive than many places in downtown Montreal, for less quality in my opinion.」

「Carole (the owner) and her staff were absolutely wonderful; always friendly and helpful. The location is a bit off the beaten track (for us) in a wonderful part of Quebec. We only wish that Quebec roads did not have as many potholes! Still, the poutine in the area was good. The hotel itself is within walking distance of many restaurants and beaches The breakfasts were cooked as we needed and the selection was very good and delivered at the time we ordered.
