"Old English style hotel just across the street from the park. The hotel clerk was very helpful. No elevator and the front desk closed at 7pm. I would stay there again. "

"The room was spacious, clean, quiet and offered a view of the sea if you stood on tiptoe. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Lovely sun terrace on the roof. Parking was easy. The staff were very courteous and friendly. Great location for the beach, walks and restaurants. A thoroughly enjoyable experience."

"High Cross was a beautiful find, a little gem! The room was exceptionally clean and beautifully presented, styled tastefully and comfortable. Tucked away from the hustle, but not far from the action, this place I will be returning to next time I visit Sydney. Close to a handful of amazing coffee shops and places to eat, you're spoiled for choice and taste, from a pub on the corner to exquisite foreign flavours, it's all right there!"

"The recently refurbished rooms in the CBH we stayed in the boutique part and they are stunning they are spacious beautifully decorated with a kitchen area and lovely bathroom we had a balcony also, I highly recommend this hotel. "

"Extremely helpful staff, both over the phone and in person. The room was spotless and despite facing the street, was extremely quiet. The roomy balcony was an unexpected bonus. The hotel has a lovely, family-like feeling - more like an apartment building than a hotel. Being opposite the Sydney Childrens' Hospital means it is a great option for parents of ill children. The price was also very pleasing. We walked to Coogee - 1.7 km walk mostly downhill. We would definitly stay there again if we wished to access Coogee."
