「Felt very much a home from home. Everything you need is there together with a lovely garden to relax in after a day out. In a small village with 2 pubs and a convenience store which is also a great location for exploring southern Cornwall.」

「Room was clean and we had a great view of the harbour. Great shower which we feel is important. We had the full Cornish breakfast it was quite modest in size and quality.」

「The general service is good and the owner is friendly and hospitable.However,the toilet and bathroom is too small to serve its function.You will probably get crashed inside the toilet.I am also not provided with room having a sea view.」

「A very convenient hotel if you are travelling over to Scilly. Proprietor Linda was extremely helpful, organising us an early breakfast. Our room was spacious and well equipped. Our dog was made very welcome. Over all an excellent stay and we will come again. Thank you」

「We travelled in a group of seven and stayed in Artist Residence for three nights in The Cottage and a double room. The Cottage was fantasy and comfy for family, it had three bedrooms and accomodate for 6 people. The design is amazing! We can even cook for dinner and breakfast in The Cottage.」

「Lovely stay, laid back and friendly, room , breakfast both good, food in pub was also lovely so didn’t need to go out in the evenings, only small thing is the king size bed is actually 2 singles together with on sheet and duvet , so a ridge down the middle , bathroom was small but adequate 」

「The property was lovely. We had just come in on a trans Atlantic flight that day. We ate at the hotel that night which was really good in addition to being relaxing. They had a reserved table for us. Breakfast the next morning was very nice; fresh fruit platter then whatever breakfast you wanted. Family owned and run. The staff commented on how nice it was to work for the family.」
