The worst quality price ratio campground ( a parking for 35$!, add 1$ per shower) in Tasmania, the lodge are neat and face the lake, with incredible view
The Great Lake is the second largest freshwater lake in Australia, although it's hard to appreciate its size when you see it. This is taken at the lookout at the north-west end of the lake. Driving from Deloraine to Hobart through the Great Lakes is actually quicker than taking the Midlands Hwy - although the Great Lakes route includes dirt roads and can be very slippery in bad weather.
Such an unreal stop. Wish I had more time to walk around and check it out.
