“This is a cute little place that’s a 2 minute walk to the Fiddle! It was too cold to use the deck out back but there’s a small fire place and it’s hidden from the road. It has everything you need and a nice efficient kitchen. ”

Had to drive everywhere and there was no view but there was a nice deck.Again very nice but just didn’t include some of the logistics I had hoped for. This was not our first time at Canaan but our first time at this property. Beware, there are steps from parking lot to unit but condo is one floor.”

“The house is in a great location to visit all the attractions in the area of the Canaan Valley of West Virginia. If you like hiking there are plenty of trails nearby. The house is pleasant, comfortable and well equipped. The owners Laurie and Chip are next door if you need any assistance. The mountain views are spectacular!”

“The moment I arrived at the site, even though it was dark and drizzling at 10 pm, I knew it was special. The frogs were singing and it was so beautiful. Larry brought me to the site even though it was so late. In the morning, I could not believe my eyes at the sun coming over the incredibly blue lake. I thought the blue was maybe a chemical, but Amber told me it is from limestone! Everything was perfect - the cabin was comfortable and cute and clean, the site was immaculate. “Grass was very high some places up to our knee. Mold on house and inside smell. Toilet didn’t work. Bathtub was filthy. We didn’t even stay the night we left. TV didn’t work. No check in communication with owner when we checked in the campground didn’t even know we was coming . Walls were dirty.”
