“The location was just as promised. The view on the deck is beautiful and the apartment was clean and well stocked with anything you might need. The location is also walking distance to various shops, pizza, restaurants and bars. The river walk across the street is also great if you want to take a stroll. Carol was also great to work with. We’ll be back.”

“The location as it related to my trip couldn’t have been any better. The apartment was super-clean and spacious. I admire the detail on the stairway leading up to the apartment (it’s the little things👍). I will most definitely stay here again when I’m in town. Aaaaaaand that was one, humongous TV screen! Felt like I was in a movie theater!”

“The Nest is so close to everything. Walked in and the place is so clean. Like no one has ever stayed there before. Cass was super responsive (within minutes of messaging him I had a response). Checked in with us to ensure we were enjoying our stay. Our next visit to the area, we will be staying there again. Best place in town for sure. Tip: Enter the front door code to the lobby super fast. That thing is a little temperamental. Side note: Check out Theo’s restaurant for breakfast.”

“Very nice house. Right across the street from the beach. Very easy access. Boat ramp is very close by. Plenty of space in the driveway for our pickup truck and boat trailer. Great place to stay if you are looking to spend some time on the lake.”

“This place is Fantastic, and Flora is Such a Great host!! Perfect location in Avon, super spacious, and clean, and has everything you need! Walking distance to restaurants and shops. This will now be our Go-to rental, each time we're back in CT to visit family. It is such a Cozy unit! The only suggestion I would caution, is that the stairs to enter/exit unit, are steep and a tight squeeze for anyone with mobility constraints.”

“This was a great location in a quiet area looking over the reservoir. We saw a few different kinds of birds and also deer, and the morning sunrise from bed was beautiful. The local wineries are a stones throw away and anything else you could want is a quick drive. The host's communication was perfect and the studio unit was immaculate and carefully thought out with everything you could need. “It seems to be new to Vrbo. Place was very clean & pleasant. There a few niggles. The stair treads are small but normal for 1900. Shower handle falls off. Lights unplugged or hidden power strip off. Couldn't open window in bdrm & no screens. Kitchen was large but missing amenities; tea kettle, sugar, K cups, salt pepper? All of the little things that you need, but don't bring. I would have discussed more with the Host but couldn't contact via Vrbo app after, 1st or 2nd night? Can't verify when……

“The house is literally on the wrong side of the tracks It’s on a small dead end street. The houses across the street are falling apart. with some windows, not even boarded up I was in fear that our house and/or car was going to be broken into this is not a pleasant neighborhood. House is old and in need of significant repairs I wandered into the back porch and I was actually afraid that it was going to collapse The cement stares outside or steep, and the railing is crooked.
