“The view was AMAZING. The cabin was very neat and tidy, had everything that we needed. We received a nice email with all the information necessary a few days in advance. Check-in was super easy. The location is quiet and secluded which was just what we were looking for. Already thinking about going back.”

“Great location- 2 clean cabins and great view of the pond! Off the beaten path. Busier road then expected so walking between the cabins with smaller children would have to be supervised - limited grocery storage for the five of us - later check in the most and earlier check - out! Fans kept us cool - beds comfortable ! Overall a few flaws but one of our favorite picks to date!”

“Great location on beautiful pond! Cottage was very nice, well appointed, but just a little too small for us. Host was easy to communicate with. I was disappointed they no longer offered a kayak or canoe as advertised when I booked the property back in April.”

“Very clean with well equipped kitchen and a nice deck but very tight quarters for a group of 5, ac in living room but no fans in the tiny bedrooms, no ventilation in bathroom or kitchen, nowhere to dry wet swimsuits or beach towels. Layout assumes that people will be sharing beds. Read the fine print about pets.”

“New cabins on a well manicured property. Super clean all the amenities that you can ask for. Small issue with TV but wasn't a big issue for us. I would recommend the cabin to anyone who wants to be there with family and friends.”

“This was a perfect place for us to spend Thanksgiving. Comfortably furnished and had everything we needed. We hope to return someday and enjoy paddling on the beautiful lake in addition to enjoying the lovely view. Close enough to get to restaurants and attractions but a quiet, serene setting.”

“My family had a great time at the beautiful lakeside cottage. We have spent many family vacations in ME. This was one of the best. It's a great spot for multi generation family gatherings. The location was perfect. The lake is beautiful and totally serene. All the lake amenities (tubes, kayaks, float) were a huge plus. Plus the lawn, volleyball net and Zipline were perfect for extra fun. Our kids had a blast each day. Unfortunately we did not have the best weather during our week long vacation……

“Unit 9 was perfect for the 3 of us. The kitchen had enough of everything we needed to make breakfast. The living room was spacious and relaxing. The bedrooms are tight; one bed was firmer than the other. It was too rainy to use the nice deck and picnic table. Despite being located on Route 1 we were not at all bothered by highway noise. We would choose to stay here again.”

“We really enjoyed our stay! The home was spotless, had lots of windows and great views, comfortable master bed, well-stocked kitchen and bathroom. Owner left detailed instructions and a very helpful guide to the area. We enjoyed exploring many of the coastal towns during our stay. “Still the sweet quirky house that we have come to enjoy. We spent Christmas at this house and it was lovely. The living room and Kitchen are spacious and inviting. More lighting would help brighten the kitchen. Overall, this place works well for a convenient stay in Thomaston. Host was easy to communicate with and we will return in the very near future.”

“Like that we can walk to everything we’ll just about, didnt like the construction that was going on at the hotel, no restaurant in hotel and bit small bathrooms but everything else was wonderful ”

“Cottage is rustic but clean in an amazing location. The view out to the boats moored in the water is one of a kind. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen and it worked well for us -- good sharp knives was a plus. Being able to walk down the dock and get the freshest lobsters possible for an excellent price was the highlight of our stay. Free access to kayaks was another nice amenity -- lots of coast to explore. The house is a little quirky (uneven floors and bathroom door is really a curtain),……
