「Great place for those with pets. Nice mud room entry. Eat in kitchen. Host responded quickly to inquiries. Neat and clean. This is a non-smoking property. However there was a definite smokey smell in the home. My spouse quit smoking years ago and the smell really bothered him especially since we rented a non-smoking property.」

「Cottage is rustic but clean in an amazing location. The view out to the boats moored in the water is one of a kind. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen and it worked well for us -- good sharp knives was a plus. Being able to walk down the dock and get the freshest lobsters possible for an excellent price was the highlight of our stay. 「We loved the sunroom and spent most of our time there when we were not out exploring mid-coast Maine. The location is excellent, with good parking. The cottage is spacious, and the kitchen is well equipped. Bathrooms had plenty of towels and supplies. I highly recommend the cottage for anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable spot to relax with the Damariscotta River as part of your back yard.」

「Had the good old field of what we always called a "camp." Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and glassware, etc. The lobster processing facility made for a bit of noise and a pretty steady stream of traffic. A lot of trucks, from pickups to semis coming in and out. Didn't really bother us a whole lot but it might bother other people. Overall the view of the water was pretty nice except for the power lines and there's not much that can be done about that. Have to have electricity after all.」

「This is a great place especially if you have dogs. The only advice I would give the management company is to leave directions to the transfer station or better yet take the trash for your guests at the end of their stay. Putting smelly trash in our car wasn’t great. All in all though, it was a great place for a family with dogs!」

「The house was a perfect for our group. The large, well stocked, kitchen let us eat in sometimes. View was very nice and we enjoyed the easy walk into town and a restaurant being so close. As described, there is no bathroom upstairs, which was fine as we were all family. The bathrooms downstairs were nice and big! The house has old world charm and the host family was great!! Would def. stay here again.」
