「This home was very unique and filled with charm! We loved learning the history of Haines Shoes and the history of the Shoe House. We found the home to have all the comforts of home away from home. The home is decorated beautifully, very clean, the beds are comfortable, and the family room is wonderful for relaxing in the evening. We did not have time for the hot tub and fire pit but hope to the next time we visit.」

「The area was beautiful and very quite! We loved the cabin we stayed in. While we did run into some minor issues, staff was VERY accommodating and attentive. We hope to come back and would love to stay on the grounds again. They love dogs and that made us feel more comfortable. The pool was awesome, as was the arcade room for our younger members of the group! 」

「The house was excellent - just as described. It was spacious, comfortable and gave us the historic feel we were looking for in the heart of Gettysburg. Location was ideal allowing easy walks to the Gettysburg circle, the battlefield and many options for dining / shopping. 「This house was perfect for our family. The setup was exactly what we needed for graduation weekend. Convenient to everything in Gettysburg, easy parking, tons of fun games, and a huge backyard which we didn’t use but nice big you had younger kids. 「It is an amazing house with large areas for playing board games, lots of sleeping arrangements and plenty of bathrooms. There were candy treats, coffee options and a basket of fresh eggs. The kitchen is large and well equipped. The house was very cozy and welcoming when we arrived. A very unique property in an area with a good hiking trail you can walk to and the town of Marietta to explore. Our group of twelve all want to return!」

「Our club held it's Annual Business Meeting here and the accommodations were perfect. The Host is friendly and gracious and attended to every detail.
