Perfect for two families with little kids

We loved staying here for a week with our young kids. A room for them to share with toys, a kitchen table as well as a large dining room table was wonderful for our board game loving group. A wonderful find! It was in close proximity to great local restaurants like “Rosie’s” which we frequented. We loved that there was laundry on the first floor and Adirondack chairs overlooking the river to enjoy our afternoons and morning coffee. An overall fantastic stay.

Perfect Fall Getaway

Great family friendly location. We really enjoyed the cozy feeling of the home and furnishings. The house has a neat layout that added to the unique characteristics. Loved the view of the River from the living room. The fire pit location was a bonus! Cannot wait to come back!

Great Potential

We pulled up to an overflowing trash can that had been raided by racoons, the furnace required service during our stay, and I'm not quite sure how this is listed to sleep 8. Otherwise, the view of the river is awesome, the Vacasa representatives were able to help us through a few issues, and the interior of the house was nice. With a few of the kinks worked out this was an enjoyable stay.

Great location for skiing

Just down the road from Crystal, so it was super convenient going back and forth for lunch and dinner breaks. Furniture was comfortable for relaxing after skiing and the kitchen had what we needed. The house has charm and character, and we would certainly stay here again.

Cozy Stay

The inside of the home was very clean and comfortable for our party of 4. The location to town was great and was a good landing spot for some of our itinerary to Traverse City. Check-in was also easy. The outside needed a little TLC, but we were able to enjoy a fire with a view of the river. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Beautiful View

The house was very cozy and comfortable. We had plenty of room to spread out. The river in the backyard was a lot of fun for the kids, they fished and played in the water in the shallow areas. Very nice place.

Great Adventure stay!

Great house for a group. Comfortable, and had everything we needed for cooking and being together with friends for a week. Location is perfect for Basecamp for adventures on the Betsie and Platte Rivers, and all the towns in between.

Always a winner

This property is always clean and appealing. It’s always nice sitting up on the hill watching the fish swim upstream and around the bend. Also a good fishing point just off the end of the stairs. We will return for many years to come.
