“Taino wood was a great place for camping. Chantel and her husband Jesse are great host and are very welcoming and kind. Nice place to enjoy with your family in the nature. There were many tent sites inside their woods and we occupied the site called:Turey. We set up 3 tents (two 4-people tents and one 6-people tent). There was a firepit we used to cook food and Chantel and Jesse lend us a pot to cook. Before leaving Chantel, Jesse and a few of their friends sang indigenous songs and played……

The little pond had frogs which were cute and we had a deer in the yard on the last morning which was fun to see. The hot water did smell like sulfur/rotten eggs but that seems common for this area. “Beautiful home that completely exceeded expectations. We stayed with 3 babies under 3 - there were toys, stuffies, a crib and pack-n-play, and a baby swing. Just down the road, there is a short walk with a beautiful vista, which was the longest distance we could have possibly done (0.65mi each way). I would absolutely come back here for more fall weekends! Perfect for young families. The only risk is there is a staircase - would bring a baby gate next time.”
