Westgate Modern Thorpeness was conceived by Glencairn Stuart Ogilvie in the early 20th century as a private holiday village. This is Westgate, a road off The Whinlands. A very cute cottage, well presented and clean.Stairs were steep for a long walk to downstairs toilet. Main bedroom mattress uncomfortable. Not withstanding this the cottage is very nice and warm the welcome pack was a nice touch.A good enjoyable experience
