“This property was absolutely perfect. With 2 small children the sandy beach and play-set was a huge benefit. Property was only about 10 minutes from town so it was super convenient. We did a lot of swimming and fishing and caught a lot even from the docks on the property. Janette was wonderful and showed us what we needed and was available if we had any questions. We had a wonderful week!”

“The cabin is beautiful, set in a rustic and peaceful location; it’s even better in person than in the photos. The interior was cozy, well-designed, with lots of thoughtful touches. We weren’t able to enjoy the water due to the cold weather, but there’s clearly plenty to do when it’s warmer outside. The hosts were super responsive and very on top of things, which we really appreciated. “It’s a very nice cabin in a beautiful remote area. Everything was in order. The only thing is when we tried to use the oven it’s started smoking. So we turned it off and used the stove which worked well. Other than that all was good. ”

“Overall we were impressed with the quality of everything. The rooms were surprisingly quiet and very nice sizes. The smores kit was a great surprise as was the ice maker and we took advantage of both. We would have like a larger beach area and the spiral staircase was hard to climb with luggage. Neither would keep us from renting again though. We try hard to make these tech free get togethers, so sorry, we do not have any photos to to share. ”

“Summerhaven was a very cozy Up North experience, and the cabin is in a great location on Lake Lost and was very spacious and comfortable. Jeff was great host he was very easy to talk to and was available throughout the entire trip. The dock was easy to tie up our rental pontoon and we enjoyed our time at Summerhaven and Lost Lake!!!”

“The amenities in the cabin were fantastic. Everything was there that we could’ve needed including shampoo, soap, towels etc.. The lake was quiet and serene and great for swimming/wading. The neighbors were far away, giving us the privacy we were looking for. I loved all the little notes around the cabin sharing where supplies were. The water pressure and hot water were fantastic for a cabin. No need to bring a fan. They had ceiling fans everywhere and extra fans in the closet, but we didn’t need……
