The resort manager was extremely personable, welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the area. Their recommendations and local insight helped make our stay more enjoyable. The room itself was a bit dated, and the grounds could definitely use some much-needed maintenance and upkeep. However, the peaceful, tranquil views were a highlight of the property and made for a relaxing atmosphere. The location is hard to beat, with convenient access to the nearby parks, making it an excellent base for exploring the area. While the property could benefit from some updates, the scenery, location, and friendly management helped make our stay worthwhile.

This place has so much potential! My cabin was really cute, but in need of a serious deep clean. A lot of cob webs and dust. Outside needs a weed eater gone thru it and front porches pressure washed.

The property is in a great location for entering Sequoia National Park. It had a lot of space for our group of 6 to spread out. We loved that it had a full kitchen and laundry, too! The price was very reasonable for the size of the space; however, there are definitely a few maintenance issues that should be addressed--bathroom sink only dribbles cold water (no hot); shower sprayer was broken and kept falling down, railing in loft was held together by a garbage bag, etc. In addition, the place could use a deep cleaning as there are cobwebs all over, huge layers of dust on ceiling fans, etc. If these issues were addressed, the property would definitely get a 5-star rating. Despite these issues we enjoyed our stay here and found the space very comfortable and homey.

The location and the river is excellent but we were quite disappointed with what we came to for the price we paid. Unfortunately the terrace was not connected to the room so you had to walk out of the room lock the doors and walk behind thr building which wasn't convenient. Loads of dust and mouldy bathroom with some green liquid spilled in the cupboard. There were other rooms that looked nicer on the picture so I guess we were not lucky The river view was hindered by bin and rubbish over the green and dead plants on the patio. Communication with the host was spot on and very pleasant. This place has a huge potential to be the dream place to stay with some TLC.

There was mold in the bathroom, the tub didn’t drain. The AC in the main living space didn’t work. It is located on a main road and had lots of road noise. The backyard is overgrown and the steps are questionable at best. There is also a creepy attic that is accessed from the living room that seemed questionable.

The cabin was ok. The windows had spray paint on many panels. Nice view nonetheless. The number of cups, one where 2 were appropriate. Wrong coffee filters ( wrong size), bathroom lacked a place to put your kit while using the sink, No shampoo. The road out had very large potholes. It simply showed a total lack of thinking about what paying guests are expecting. It was clean, the bed was great, the view of the river and the wildlife ( beautiful quail family for Mother’s Day), ducks on the river, sweet! It needs a lower price and more care about what paying guests want.

The cabin was not clean, leftover empty bottles, I’m assuming belonging to previous guests. Shower and shower curtain had mold stains. The deck was not clean had cigarette ashes on the the table with a dirty ashtray on top of it. The table was not clean, some of the furniture was torn. The curtain in the room was not wide enough to cover the window overlooking the front and it was torn too. The premises were not maintained had broken chairs which are meant for guests to sit and enjoy the river. These are the chairs that are shown on the advertisement picture. Because all of these issues I chose to sleep on top of the bed rather than inside. We cut our vacation short and left the following day. We travel often but this is the first time we have had such a terrible experience. We definitely do not recommend this place.

This by far the worst stay we have. I expected to enjoy the property because I love the fact that it has a river access at the backyard area. But unfortunately they did not even cut the grass and the totoo much trash. Under the patio deck has trash bags full of trash. Inside the house, the air conditioner is full of cobwebs. The floor has animal hairs too. There’s also questionable stain on the carpet floor in the loft. They promised to cut the grass on our second day but they didn’t do it. Never again will we rent this property. Yuck!!!

Absolutely would NOT recommend staying here. We ended up getting a different hotel and Expedia did not refund me but the room was absolutely filthy. Moldy shower curtains, dusty fan, dirty sheets, sticky floor, dead spiders, fingerprints on mirror and a porn vhs in the closet. The key was not provided and room was left open. Later the neighbor knocked on our door to give us back the tv remote. Left because we felt unsafe.
