“we spent two nights at this lovely house. Everything was fine. Location is great. House is as described very comfortable. We knew we were really in the country when they heard the coyotes calling to each other at night. The drive to the General Sherman Tree area of Sequoia. National Park is beautiful. It’s not many miles — perhaps 20 but the road is very curvy and takes a good hour to get there. it’s another hour to be Kings Canyon. Both drives are well worth it if you have a good driver”

“The owner was very helpful and accommodating. This VRBO is less than a mile from the entrance to Sequoia National Park.”

“We really enjoyed the property and closeness to the entrance of the park. Communication with the owners was always great. The beds and pillows were very comfortable which we appreciated a lot! “Important disclaimer; unless you have AT&T cell coverage, there is really no good Internet/phone coverage in this area at all. So when you find out the address and the mechanism how to get into whatever cabin shoes, make sure you write it down. By the time we got to this cabin, there was no Internet service, and it was a wild goose chase finding a business on the main road who would share their Wi-Fi information so I could find out how to get into this cabin. “Dry roomy house that was perfect for two couples. Clean with all the amenities we needed. Great location, very close to Sequoia National Park. Property had a farm-like fell and beautiful Mountain views, while still being very close to restaurants, essentials, etc. I really appreciated the exceptional communication from the host and the tips on local attractions and amenities.”

“Came to San Diego for a week and decided to take a side trip to Sequoia National Park. This place was perfect for what we needed, a clean place close to the park to shower and sleep. It is literally ten minutes away from the park entrance, in a beautiful area that overlooks the park from the roof top deck.”

“Ideal, quiet & peaceful setting! Cute 1950s vibe house - very comfortable. Nice off-line activities: horse shoes, wonderful "big butt" swings, tic-tac-toe, just goofing around by/in the river. There is a screen door off the master bedroom that allows you to sleep with the sound of the water.I would not recommend this property for folks with mobility issues. There is no rail on the steps or along the raised stepping stones up to the house. Also, the shower is "sunken" - you have to go down……

Huge backyard! and when you want to leave it you can walk down the street to a Little bar Or take a drive into the park. “We enjoyed our stay at Sundew, immensely! Great place to unwind after visiting the national parks. The sunset view was beautiful, the home had dishes and cookware available to use and other amenities that made our stay a cozy home away from home. ”

“the place was very clean and modern with big and comfortable beds. Quiet neighborhood. The Market is like a 6 min drive, and 20min to sequoia entrance. ”

“Place was very cute. Stayed to visit different trails around the Sequoias with my dog. The place is small and quaint but perfect for a little place to sleep and stay. Didn't have to contact the host much but they were kind and responsive. Overall, great stay! ”

“The property was amazing! We had all the amenities we needed plus the views of the mountains were unforgettable. Mark was a terrific host. He promptly answered any questions we had. Also the info given pre-trip was helpful along with the info inside the home. Mark really thought of everything. The home was plenty comfortable for four adults and was impeccably clean. “Wonderful stay! Accommodation was perfect; comfortable bed, super handy kitchenette facilities, lovely fluffy towels and decent AC. Quiet location super close to the park entrance, and just a very short drive from Three Rivers. Everything was as described and Lori was a fantastic host providing plenty info about the property and area for us. Should we be back to Sequoia/Kings Canyon National Parks I’ve no doubt that we would stay here again!”
