"We stayed on the top floor with our guest from home country, Japan. We had some concerns about bed bugs based on past reviews, but we didn’t see any signs and had great time with fantastic view. Some tips: there is no elevator and no dedicated parking place."

It so close to train station and the lake. After staying g at Spiez, we left for Grindelwald but we wish we should have just stayed at Speiz, the surrounding is way better"

"The property was amazing for the price. The host is responsive and leaves notes for those who have questions. The living room has a window which has an amazing view of a beautiful mountain, and a short 10 minute walk to the vibrant waters. The only minor complaint is that there are many flies, but other than that the place was very nice!"

The apartment was easy to find, the parking was very close by and the hosts did an excellent job of explaining the parking options and check in process. The small kitchen was very efficient and while we only prepared simple meals, the full size fridge and stove top, plus provided plates/cups/glassware would make cooking family meals a breeze. "This place is adequate, but very basic. If you are there just to hike and then come back and sleep, it is ok. It was reasonably close to the train station, but there is a section you have to walk along a busy road. It would be better if you are traveling by car. Drains in the sink and shower are slow. It was very hot when we were there and it was difficult to leave windows open for fresh air because of the flies. May not be an issue if you come in cooler weather."

En revanche, le logement n'est pas du tout adapté pour 6 ou 7 adultes : il manque de verres, la table est beaucoup trop petite pour 7, nous n'avions pas assez de chaises donc nous avons mis la table à côté du canapé pour manger, le lit du dessus du lit superposé est un petit matelas donc pas adapté à un adulte.
