“The hotel itself seemed old and entry steps were very dirty. However our room had been renovated and was excellent. It had outside access via a patio door which was extremely convenient for us. Room was large and had kitchenette which was not listed on website so pleasant surprise. We arrived at hotel about 30-40 minutes before our check in time and our room wasn’t ready. OK we were early but the young lady, who suggested we could wait in the bar across the lobby would not come and let us……

“Loved the friendly staff, pool, and complimentary breakfast options. The room could have been tidier and the furniture/floors were stained. ”

“Could not have been in a better location with being able to walk to almost all the bars and restaurants in the area. We stayed in unit 21 which was newly renovated and had a great view of the lake. the next time we are in Grand Marias we know where we are staying! ”

“酒店很新，环境不错！只是酒店的清洁人员太太太让人烦恼，第一天早上9点过就来敲门，还没想起床，可是那种不停歇的敲门，逼得你只能起床，去和她打招呼，让稍晚些来。第二天早上8点过就来了，还是不依不饶地敲，你想多睡会吧，已经吵醒了，再睡回去，又睡不着了，弄得一天都精神恍惚的！我一点都没有夸张，酒店可以看监控，是不是这样早就来敲门了，这是催客早离店的意思吗？”

“Hotel and room nicely renovated. Some odds and ends left to finish. Totally satisfied with my stay and would repeat. Decent basic continental breakfast. ”

“The neighbourhood is questionable, outside of the building looks kind of rundown. Inside was actually surprisingly clean, bed and bath included. Wifi is better than some of the other higher end hotels given it has its own modem in room. It's quite adequate and comfortable enough for a 1 night stay over for me.”

“Amazing Service ”

“My partner and I stayed two nights with our 1 year old pup and had a great time. The roads up the Gunflint were well plowed and the hosts gave us instructions for an easy self check-in. The room was affordable, clean, the bed was comfortable, and the upstairs shared kitchen/community space has a large deck overlooking the lake. Hosts were great with communication.”

“what a beautiful area, at the end of the gunflint trail. i was there before ice out so it was very quiet, beautiful surroundings and a very comfortable room. nice clean bathroom with good shower. this would be a perfect place to stay before and/or after a canoe trip into the BWCA. make sure you have everything you want because it is an hour drive into Grand Marais, that is part of the beauty of this place. i had great communication from the property owners, i will definitely staying there again.”
