“The primary bedroom was very small but with the rooftop deck and the front porch it really wasn't an issue. The view of the sunset was incredible. The folks working at the "general store/check-in" were really nice. I love the rule of quiet after 10:00pm. We went the first week of June and it was really peaceful. We are booking for the same week next year!!!”

“Very unique experience in a clean floating bungalow! There was only 2 pillows total for 3 beds and a sofa bed, then between front desk and provided number could not speak with anybody who could help. The next day was able to speak with someone in maintenance and received 1 more pillow.”

“Bathroom was immaculately clean for a cabin. They do not provide blankets, sheets, and pillows so bring your own! The pool was crystal clear and the perfect temperature. Staff are very helpful and super friendly. The pull out couch was surprisingly comfortable. The cabin came with a TV which was nice. Will definitely be back next time I’m in that part of NC. ”

“Clean cabin and nice staff members. I didn't like that we didn't have the pillows and the comforters ( but got informed about it before the trip ). Our cabin was by the railway so it was super loud, I couldn't sleep. The bathroom is not connected to the cabin ( and I also knew about it before coming to the place). My husband said the men's bathroom smelled absolutely horrible. ”

“The property is old but kept clean. It could use lots of upgrades but for the price I paid, I can’t complain much. The staff were friendly. The room has a kitchenette with mid-size refrigerator and stove which was a plus. The pool was small but it is still an option during bad weather.”

“I chose this property because it had several things for our 7 year old grandsons to do. There was a craft room, with an excellent staff member, Ms. Joanna, there on Mon - Friday that our grandchildren enjoyed working with. The location was excellent, but unfortunately our visit coincided with a huge event that closed the portion of the beach where this hotel was located. We ended up having to walk 4 blocks to find a beach access. The property was spotless, the pool was clean, and the kitchenette……

“This is the place to stay if you're into more traditional quiet cottages rather than big standard hotels. Angie's is so cute and cozy! The beds are very comfortable and everything extra clean. On top of that Steve Sr. is a hoot! And his dog Shredder is a sweetheart. We could talk forever with Steve and learn the history and interesting facts about the community. So much fun! Also great location, next to the beach and board walk and great restaurants. Loaded up on oysters. We will come back here……
