“My kids and i had to visit Laramie for a memorial and i also had to see my soon to be ex-husband again. Needless to say, it was a stressful weekend, but the coziness of the basement apartment was soothing to my nerves. Lovely inside, quick response from the owners, would stay again/ recommend.”

“Felt like being welcomed “home”! The owner/manger went above and beyond to make our stay very enjoyable. The ranch style (no stairs) was perfect for the elderly lady that accompanied us. The homey decorating was delightful and all the amenities offered were spot on. Great views of distant mountains. We would highly recommend this property!”

“Property is not maintained very well. Yard area has been neglected for some time. Refrigerator door kept opening by itself and would not stay shut. Refrigerator not cleaned out from prior guests. Front door lock loose and screws stripped out. No A/C (while the listing states this, it’s buried and unless you’re specifically looking for it, you won’t find out until after booking). Pilot lights on stove do not work. No coffee maker, just K-cup machine. Bring your own pillows. Definitely NOT worth……

From the from the wind, to the livestock greeting us at the fence, to the dramatic sunrises, to the shy full of stars (and a meteor from the Taurids), the Hummel Cabin was just what we needed for our week of hikes in the Medicine Bow and Laramie Ranges. Valerie and Todd provided immediate response to questions and were great hosts. We would be happy to stay here again!”

“This was a nice place to stay. It is an old home, so the layout is unusual with steep stairs and walking through one bedroom to get to another, things like that. Unfortunately the portable crib was not usable. We just needed somewhere for 8 of us to stay the night, so it worked for our needs.”

“This is a nice little place if you’re traveling on a budget. It has a fenced in back yard, that was great for our dogs, traveling with us. The second bed is extra firm/hard. My kids did not like sleeping on it. The washer and dryer are nice and are easy to work. The owner was professionally responsive to most issues that arose. However, when I booked my stay, the listing showed a hot tub under amenities. The owner did not want to provide any compensation for leaving early, due to the property……
