Tifton, GA - Shalom Guest House - Cabin in Peaceful Setting
This 800+ square foot cabin is located in rural south Georgia away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Fully furnished, all you need is to get here. WIFI and smart TV, EVCS, fire pit, gas grill, pool table, and catch and release fishing are awaiting your arrival. Sit on the swing under the elm trees and enjoy watching the barn yard animals. It's an easy drive to town, I-75, US 82, and restaurants and small town shopping. Golfing and historic museum close by. An easy drive to Moultrie for events at Spence Field, or Adel for the motor speedway events.
For pet owners, please communicate with us first before assuming your pet is a good fit for us. We generally only take small to mid-size dogs. Big dogs and their toenails are pretty hard on our floor!
Please note that your pet is not automatically accepted. We will ask a few questions first to see if your pet is suitable for our place. Then if accepted there is a pet fee of $25 per pet. Please contact us first if you have a pet you wish to get accepted.
Check in is after 3 PM, Monday-Saturday. SUNDAY check in is after 4 PM. Check out time is 11 AM.
Our yard is a little controlled, a little wild, and a little magical. That's why the elves came!

I got this for my daughter to stay in to relax and take a break from life. She said it was nice, except the fire place didn’t work for the cold nights, and a bit dusty but overall it was great

Cozy Dog friendly cabin. We arrived late and slept well in a comfortable bed. The cabin appeared to be well stocked and the property is wonderful. The pond is very large. I was able to give one the goats two boops on its nose. Our dog is recovering from a knee surgery and the host was responsive to text and even accommodated or need for keeping our dog calm. We were able to text when our dog was going out for walks so that she didn’t get too excited seeing their pup on its walk. It was an ideal overnight stop for our drive to S Florida.

Very cozy and well equipped. Grounds were well taken care of and dog friendly. Loved the nearby pond and animals. Cabin is very well stocked with anything you’ll need. Owners very friendly and great communicators. Will definitely stay again if in the area.

We had an amazing time at the lakeside cabin! It was impeccably clean and offered plenty of space for our family to relax and enjoy. The cabin was well-equipped with everything we needed, and even included some thoughtful extras that made our stay special. The serene surroundings and beautiful views of the lake truly made it a perfect escape from everyday life. Wonderful place!

Peaceful
The cabin was so peaceful right on the pond. We enjoyed resting and watching wildlife. A duck jumped in water every time we opened door and we found out why she was on the deck.

Very nice and relaxing stay. 15 minutes away from interstate but that’s very nice if you want a quiet peaceful stay on a pond with ducks and beautiful barn swallows and chimney swifts. We weren’t there long enough to fish but that would have been fun to do too. Loved it!

Peaceful, country setting
Enjoyed fishing and playing multiple games of pool. The pond is just outside the door where you can sit on the porch and have fun catching fish. You can hear and see ducks, and other wildlife. This is an amazing place. It reminds me of when we grew up on a farm.Hosts were very caring and friendly. We plan to return when our schedule permits.
