"The Helendorf is a great in-town stay. Very good location, in walking distance of restaurants, bars, shops, etc. The feel of the town's Bavarian theme is absolutely charming, and The Helendorf certainly captures that very well. Well maintained, plenty of parking, and very comfortable. A great value as well."

"Our stay was good, staff was nice. Room was clean and quiet. Microwave in room looked to be 50 years old. Bathtub was very slick to stand in while showering. Continental breakfast was less than ideal. Hotel was great for what we needed and is what we had expected for the most part."

"Rooms aren’t cheap anywhere during Octoberfest. We like to stay downtown so we can walk to everything. This is the first time we stayed here and loved the chill river area in the evenings, great field to walk the fur baby and a super easy walk to downtown. The front staff were amazing. "Can't really say enough nice about the hotel. The staff was awesome, it was clean. Everything but the beds were perfect, and in a hotel.... I can't complain about the beds really. The pillows were even great. I'm so spoiled by my mattress at home, the bar is too high for a hotel to meet. Breakfast was good with lots of options. Will definitely stay here again if we return to Helen."
