「Very good 」

「Such a great Lodge! So glad I found this gem. Would definitely stay there again. Beautiful location with a “view” of GW & TJ on Mount Rushmore. About a 2 minute drive to the monument. Large area for kids to play in the evening and a fire pit to cozy around in the evenings. We had a delicious burger in the restaurant in the evening. The breakfast was on par for free hotel breakfast. The only negative I would have is that the rooms are not very soundproof. And definitely ask for an upstairs...

「A perfect stopover on the edge of Custer, a quick drive (or longish walk) from lots of places to eat and shop. The staff was lovely and the room was just right.」

「We enjoyed the cabin. Sitting on the front porch was very relaxing. The restaurant was excellent. Opening the window made the air conditioner unnecessary in 70-80 degree weather. Great location too. Close to Mount Rushmore and centrally located to other places like Custer state park and Rapid city. Would stay again if we are up this way. 」

「The staff was great. Room was clean and quiet. We were very happy with everything, The towels we’re clean, however, they have definitely seen better days and are positively gray.」

「Visited with family and we loved out suites with 3 queen beds. Breakfast was good just need better rotation so dont eat some thing daily. Clean place and verybfreidnly and accommodating staff. Mary was amazing.」

「Very nice property. Breakfast was a very good quality, and varied day today as far as items offered. Always had eggs, waffles, sausage, etc. But prepared in various ways. Room was clean and well maintained, and the additional outdoor entrance to first level rooms was very convenient.」

「We stayed a few nights here and really enjoyed it. It’s an upgraded old motel with some cabins and a larger lodge up the hill. Across from the abandoned false ghost town, so that was fun. Most of the cabins have a gas grill and there is one at the lodge for the other units. Fire rings and picnic tables provided some nice outdoor spaces to compliment the smaller indoor spaces. Cindy was super helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast is light (cereal, toast, fruit, coffee) but just right. Good home...

「Unplug and reset!! We stayed in the stargazer tent and it as very cool! The location/view was fantastic. The tents were so clean and well kept. The whole site was quiet during sleeping hours which we really appreciated. The staff was very nice and check-in/out was a breeze. Anything we needed the staff was able to provide quickly and even did so without asking for things we didn't notice. Food from the restaurant was nice, cleaner eating and very welcomed after eating on the road/fast food prior...
