Tignale is a group of six villages scattered on a plateau above western Lake Garda. The fascinating panorama of the health resort is a combination of the green of the olive trees and the blue of the sky and the lake. Tignale is known as the "balcony over Lake Garda" and, in addition to its olive oil mill and observatory, is also known for the Montecastello pilgrimage church. This was built on a rocky outcrop, directly below the summit of Monte Cas. This holy place offers you an incomparable view of Lake Garda at your feet.
Trails and hiking trails through the fascinating mountain landscape and mountain bike routes that are addictive - the hinterland of Tignale is an El Dorado for active vacationers. If you prefer something a little more leisurely, you can stroll along the promenades by the lake in the evening and enjoy Italian delicacies in one of the many restaurants. Excursion tip: the town of Garda with its harbor from the Venetian era and its wonderful lake promenade
