Oceanfront Spacious condo with private beach access

Oceanfront Condo available in a secured and gated community with private access to the beach which is just a walk down the stairs. This Condo is a split unit like a townhouse has two bedrooms, one bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and living room and WIFI for all your devices. My favorite spot in this Condo is the private balcony with a beautiful ocean view. Best morning coffee view ever.

The Condo has two beds to sleep 6 very comfortably but also has three futons that unfold into twin size beds for parties of more than 6. I should also mention, specifically for a pair of couples considering this rental, that the bedrooms were designed and built without doors, although privacy can be had for the second bedroom is in an upstairs loft.

Just 12 miles south of the US Border and 4 miles north of Rosarito makes this Condo very accessible to experience and enjoy the nightlife and food varieties that both Rosarito and Tijuana have to offer as well as a short ride back to the border or the Tijuana airport.

This Condo also has three lower levels that you have access to. The first is an open area perfect for sunbathing, practicing Yoga or any other relaxing under the sun activities. This areas only shade is under the bar in the corner. The second area has a fire-pit, a BBQ and a table that provides the perfect atmosphere to have a dinner to remember forever. The third is down on the beach. This area has a table under a Palapa so you may relax with a cooler full of your favorite drinks just one step away from the beach. Since the condo is adjacent to a house these terraces are shared when and if the house is rented.

Within this gated community, you also have access to a large swimming pool, tennis courts and a nice little park all overlooking the ocean. There is also a convenience store just blocks away that makes purchasing food, drinks and necessities easy and quick. There are also a number of small restaurants and bars at the exit of San Antonio del Mar's security gate.

As you can see, whether you need to get away to relax or maybe to get a little wild, this Condo is perfect for pair of couples or a family that needs an escape.

Peace and quite

We were looking for a quite place to spend the 4th of July weekend ( my dog is horrified of fireworks) and this place was just that. It’s not a 4 star resort but I wasn’t expecting it to be, but if you want a clean quite place to relax after a night out in Rosarito or you want to spend the day at a semi private beach and enjoy the sunset from your patio then this place is awesome. The owner is great! There was a little misunderstanding with the checkout time and she went above and beyond to make it right. The smaller condo is great but if you have a chance to get the main house you won’t regret it, the view from the living room/kitchen you can’t beat it. We’ll definitely be going back soon!

Upsetting after having to bath in a pool

I am not sure why charge a cleaning fee if a place will not be cleaned. It was in order yet floors where dusty. I felt concerned over broken door and sliding door spring falling constantly. You'd appreciate to wake up to a nice morning at the beach but when you wake up to a battalion of aunt in the kitchen well yah think Man! What else can go wrong, warming up food I had the microwave outlet pop with a sparkle of shocking electrical. For sure freaked me out my kids were not allowed to be near it. I felt constantly concerned over the miniature stair case ready to fall/hand rail was so unsafe. 1st night well was very uncomfortable and the sofa bed was broken. There were only 2 spare blankets that help a little. I was literally frozen after my shower, starter with hot water by the time I put shampoo shocking it stoped. So we decided that after the beach we just move on to the pool and couldn't wait to return home to clean up. I can say the view was beautiful yet I wouldn't return. The stair way is not leveled and many times I felt I'd loose

4th of July mini vacay

Overall it was a good vacation. The owner was friendly and very attentive. The beach is nice and almost private. We stayed in the top portion of what seemed to feel like a townhouse, yet we had our own private balcony and entrance. Great little community ❤️

Spacious and cozy beachfront condo in a multi-guard-safe & quiet community

Our family of four really enjoyed our time here on the beach. Its nestled in this great little private/gated beach community of San Antonio Del Mar (between the US border and Centro Rosarito). I never once felt worried with my two young daughters playing on the back patio alone or taking our private staircase directly to the beach, where we could keep on eye on them playing on the sand from our large deck up above. Waking up at sunrise to crashing waves then enjoying fresh local coffee on the patio is my heaven. Also. keep a look-out from Dolpins who pass southbound to Ensenada on some lucky mornings. I walked our small dog down to the sand every morning and it was his version of a K9 heaven. Homeowner Leticia and her son were immediately helpful with advice, making small repairs, or handling any other concerns to make you feel comfortable, relaxed and taken care of. The Walmart, Home Depot and Smart & Final are all about a 5-10 min drive South down the 1 hwy. to Rosarito Centro. They both carry many of the basic US foods, produce, liquor and basic market essentials. Thank you Leticia and we are already planning a return for the Summer possibly a whole month! NOTE** It is a split condo on one property. They have separate entrances and both share the big front patio, a fire-pit and the stairs to the water. The good news is a family was only there for two days of our whole trip so we were basically alone. Cant wait for the Summer!!!!

Amazing.

The house is small but very beautiful with an amazing view, I really enjoyed my stay it was very peaceful, and what I also liked was that it was a gated community so I knew my car was safe if it was outside. The only thing was one of the couch that turns into bed was not very comfortable so I did not sleep well the first night, the other nights I had to place pillows underneath. Also, the WiFi only reached from the kitchen to the outside part, but it did not reach in the rest of the house which was a bummer, because every time I tried to use it I had to go to the kitchen. Other than that the place was amazing.

The house over all is great... plenty of space very clean and well kept, the owner and her son are very welcoming the owner stays on top of things and answers any questions fast the only down fall is that the beach has no sand it's mostly rocks it's beach from all the beach is privet but if your traveling with children like I did they will enjoy the community pool more then the beach and only because of the rocks other then that very privet secure and beautiful close to rosarito maybe 10-15 min drive and close to the boarder we also had 2 nights of bomb fire will stay here again.

Great condo, fun time!

Nice property with a great patio and view. Great hot water, easy walk downstairs to the beach. Owner was very responsive, I would not hesitate to book again. Wifi worked great! It is a split unit (like a townhouse) so if someone else is renting the other part of the house, you may hear them moving around (it's not a big deal though). A few things to mention not related to the actual unit: 1)The streets in Playa Del Sol are cobblestone-like and there are some very large speed bumps. Certain areas of the street are in need of repair and if you have a car that's low to the ground, you can easily bottom out. After driving through once or twice, you'll figure out where those spots are. 2)We didn't have a great deal of luck with Uber getting to pick us up at Playa, but we had no problem getting back. The guard shack can call you a cab if you find Uber isn't available. 3) The walk from the unit to the guard shack is about 10-15 mins. W found the best way to get out is to drive our car over to the security booth and park in front of the Sushi restaurant (which is vacant) just inside the secured area. We did this several times and the guard didn't seem to care. Some minor things I would change if it were my property: -The kitchen does not have a microwave, (the stove worked great though). -We didn't watch any TV, but I'd replace the small TV with a larger one. -A larger trash can would help. We piled up a lot of trash over the course of 3 nights, so bring trash bags with you. Overall, great experience!

Disappointing

We stayed here because we were traveling with our small dog and found out when checking in at the Rosarito Beach Hotel they would not allow our dog. We had travelled from Northern California and were stuck. Luckily this owner allowed our pet. She was kind and gracious and the caretaker Angie was charming. The disappointment was with the place itself. It was small and dark inside and the furniture was uncomfortable (armless futon and 2 straight backed chairs in living room) as was the bed, in addition to being small. The kitchen faucet wasn't working (only 1 knob--when you turn the other nothing happens). The kitchen was so narrow you had to move the chairs in order to get out the slider. It is right on the beach so the view is heavenly. But, On the patio were dead potted plants and some chairs that were missing some of their strapping. Luckily we had our own beach chairs. The wood stairs down to the first terrace felt dangerous -- wobbly and uneven--you have to be careful. A $100 cleaning fee for only 2 nights did not seem reasonable especially because we left it cleaner than we found it. At first I thought the kitchen sink had been left dirty when we checked in but realized that it was just stained. After walking barefoot on the kitchen floor my feet were dirty, so it wouldn't feel so unfair if the place felt truly clean which it did not (big daddy long legs spider in the shower too!) Overall I would not recommend. A hotel would be cheaper, brighter, cleaner, in better order and right in walking distance of what you came for. There is nothing in walking distance here except a very small convenience store. There is a restaurant inside this gated community but we were never able to catch them when they were open and it looked dubious anyway. One more thing: There are probably a hundred homes in this community but it felt like a ghost town--we saw 1 lady the whole 2 days which also felt weird.
