“The house is a very nice house with an open, modern design. It is spacious enough to accommodate large groups of people (we had 6 adults and 2 babies there during the day with no issues). The driveway into the garage is at a weird angle and may be difficult for some especially if trying to back in. Brad the property manager was very attentive and responded very quickly even on the holiday to our inquiries. When modifications to the rental needed to be made, he adjusted it without issue. “We rented the Hyco Lake Gem for our family to gather for an early Christmas gathering. We had family come from out of state and were excited about the lake time and boat house space! The Gem really delivered! The house had everything we needed and nothing we did not. We spent hours on the dock and at the boat house fishing and making memories! It was a little hike down to the lake, but luckily we were all able bodied and able to enjoy it! It would have been difficult if our elderly parents had……

“The house is great, there is a thing with the water getting a sulfur smell but the owner said to let water run for awhile and it fixed it on up and we didn’t have any more problems during our stay.”

“We had our family of 8 adults for a weekend of fun for a Duke Basketball game. The house was amazing! Kitchen is well stocked, plenty of linens. The host communicated promptly and often about questions we had. The neighborhood was quiet and the beds were so comfy - we slept tight! Coffee bars were awesome and decor was amazing - loved added touches like string lights hung around fence and patio which gave a beautiful ambience for a happy hour wine time. Easy Uber ride to and from game-……

“I had my disabled adult daughter and two dogs with me. The home met all our needs including a fenced back yard and beautiful back deck. Some lighting outside didn’t work and the place could have been a bit cleaner (little more attention to detail) but overall nice stay! Recommend TV in at least one bedroom.”

“It was very difficult to get them to send an email with the information I needed to check in, so it ended up with me having to stay at another hotel the first night because they forgot to send me the first email”
