Felt unsafe , hotel seem to be a homeless facility. The continous noise and running on the upper floor very disturbing. The next door tenants smoked directly outside my room door. The atmosphare very unhealthy . I have not had a proper shower since the water was always too hot. Never had maid nor cleaning service. There was always a challenge for towels and only available at nights if you manage to get one. Checking out was another hassle was charged for one extra night . When i discovered the extra charge was told someone changed my reservation...

Friendly staff, and nice room. Only complaint was that the room was dated, and didn't look like it was professionally maintained (Although it was maintained and everything worked). I will defently consider staying here when I visit the area again! Thank You!

There is nothing I liked about this place. I don't think it had an upgrade since it was built. The service was awful. No phones seem to work on the property. TV in the room that can't be used because of no remote. I had to go in search of someone for the front desk upon check in. Who checks standards and quality of hotels these days. This hotel should have been closed for upgrade a long time ago.

Arrived in the evening, found no coffee pot; called the office; The front desk said they couldn't provide one, because housekeeping had gone home....What??. When I went into the bathroom, found the sink was barely holding onto the wall. All night the room above seemed to be housing a team of heel walking elephants. Took a shower in the am and the water was backing up so, I was ankle deep in water the whole time. The breakfast was disgusting. Eggs had the consistency of old oatmeal and the oatmeal was frightening. The gym was terrible. Most of the equipment is not functioning and there are no towels or cleaning materials. The cable TV controller was also probably about 10 years old, falling apart and the remote barely worked. This facility is far more dated that the pictures reveal. Unfortunately it was once a nice place, but, the current owners are just letting it go to pot.

This place was not clean looking & looked dingy. There were crumbs & stains on the couch. The furniture looked like they got it for free on a curb. Appliances looked old & dingy also.

I never give a low rating but this was by far the worst place I have stayed at. The room was dirty and in disrepair. It took two of us to lift and close the door so the lock would engage. The stove was dirty and the floor was sticky. Just not a good experience. The staff was not very friendly and did not answer the phone at the front desk ever. The only positive was the shower had good water pressure. No bath mat and only two towels despite there being four in the room. ( we tried to call the desk, but nope, so we just made do). I definitely do not recommend.

Price gauging. Terrible rooms. Three lights out including the one in fridge above stove and sink. Paint drops on floor. Flooring not finished in kitchen either. Loud people upstairs. The room was filthy. We had to throw are socks away from walking on the floor. There were no light bulbs in half the fixtures. Mouse droppings in the bathroom. Foul smell coming from the kitchen sink. Lights in the bathroom half falling from the wall. Screen on the slider broken and full of holes. The property is in total disarray and seems as its being used for welfare housing. We left two days early as we'd had enough.

Was given a room that wasn’t clean after bring all my belongings up and had to go back to the front desk to be given a room all the way on the other side from where I already was . At that point I was annoyed them to get in the room and it was disgusting, looks worn down I wish I had taken pictures.

This property is not a regular hotel property, the rooms are used for permanent residence rentals and there was trash and couches sitting in the walking areas. The rooms did not look like any of the rooms shown on the site, they were very old looking and they had a weird smell when you walked in. There was no remote for the TV and 2 of the lamps did not work. My cousin found a roach in her room and the water was not hot in either of our rooms. Very disappointed because the rooms or hotel does not match what is advertised.

This is a Welfare Hotel. Was awoken at 7 am by school bus honking for kids. Cars stopping by at all hours of the night (very creepy). The room was gross, noisy (Fridge sounded like it had just taken off from the airport), and the bed should have been thrown out years ago (lopsided and horrible). The furniture was Goodwill vintage and quality, the majority of staff did not speak English, the managers at the desk and a maintenance. worker did provide good service.

The floors were very dirty and there was no housekeeping service, which is not a good thing especially if you have kids. Also there was an issue with our door not being locked when closed and it took a long time for them to fix it, and we were in a rush to head out somewhere but couldn’t leave until our door was fixed.

FILTYH!! They would not bring extra towels to us, Would not provide a blow dry (normal necessity). Carboonoxide went off, said they didn’t have our full booking, customer service was HORRIBLE, attitudes etc. Again, filthiest place I have ever stayed. EXTREMELY disappointing and disgusting.

horrible hair in bed and shower dirty complained did nothing. had to leave. they gave me a number to call for refund. they never returned my 5 calls. this place is a roach coach stay away. also there were others in the lobby also complaining the front desk guy started handing out sheets cuz apparently housekeeping called out and they just made the beds dirty! or don’t make the beds at all never got refund and left the hotel at 10pm to find a new one.

Tables and counters were sticky. Only 2 towels in room, had to go to front desk to request more. Only 2 pillows for a king size bed. When checking in, no one was at front desk and waited at least 15 minutes before someone showed up. No local channels on tv, called front desk several times and was told maintenance was coming. Guy came but he didn’t speak English and the issue wasn’t resolved

So disappointed. I’ve never stayed here before and will never again . Less than enthusiastic reception - mostly on their phone. The steps to our room were filthy - obviously not swept in a month and plantings were either broken off or mostly dead and not dormant due to the weather. The room had a noisy heat/ ac system. There were paint drips all over the floors and sink. The sofa was stained and needs to be replaced. The surfaces were recently shellaced or varnished and still sticky . The clock radio had a shredded cord and I was afraid to plug it in . The shower curtain was too short so the water went all over the floor . The toilet handle had to be jiggled to stop it from running. The sink was clogged so water drained very slowly. There was no hair dryer. The “ complementary breakfast “ consisted of little more than a bagel , toast , waffles ( no butter ) inedible oatmeal ( no milk ) and maybe there was something in the warming trays but they were empty. No fruit or cereal . Needless to say , I will not be recommending Wyndham hotels to anyone soon . I have been staying in hotels all over the world for years and have never written a negative review- I guess my good luck finally ran out . Cheers Patricia Dennison

What I didn't like about the property is that they have a roach problem. There was a big one in the refrigerator and 2 in the bathroom the next morning where I didn't take a shower and slept with the lights on all night. I had to put my clothes in garbage bags overnight I was afraid to leave my clothes out of fear that the roaches would get in my clothes and belongings. I was not able to get any rest for the 5 hours I was there. It was a last minute thing. Wow never again.

The pictures are far from what the suites actually looks like. The shower tub would fill up with water and was slippery, also there was not a shower curtain to block water from going onto the floor. The place was out dated. There was sand on the floor.

We checked in the door would not lock. We let the front desk know. One hour later no one came the outside has no light. We decided to cancel reservation because there is mold and the lamps don’t work. We left and checked in at the Residence Inn. The room smelled like paint. This place should pay people to stay there. The only give you bath towels no hand towels. There are holes I really didn’t feel comfortable. The state should come in and inspect the property. I recommend going to Residents Inn by Marriot.

We had made a reservation for a room at Hawthorn Suites By Wyndham in Tinton Falls, based on what it was said on the website and pictures of the room. When we got there the room was nowhere near what it was depicted in the pictures. #1.One of the stairs leading to the room had vomit on the first three steps closer to the room door. The other stairs which had no vomit were extremely dark making it very dangerous at night. #2.There were bugs crawling out of the drawer on the night table near the bed. #4. The wood of the headboard of the bed was all chipped. #5.The tub had a rust stain and the drain control knob was missing and in its place there was a hole full of rusted chipped pieces falling out. #6.There was a stain in the sofa bed and the freezer rack was all rusted. #7.The room was extremely dark despite the 2 lamps in the room. #8.The chimney was all covered in dust. #9. The closet doors were broken coming out of the hinges making it dangerous to be there. I had to immediately try to book another room at the last minute because of the poor unsanitary condition of this room. This was explained to the lady at the check-in, Suchi. I see that my card was charged despite us explaining this that same night and leaving the premises. We booked this place believing in the reputation of Wyndham and what was portrayed on the website. This was a false advertisement. I am very surprised that this place was part of Wyndham and that Expedia is part of this place.
