I recommend staying here if you're laying over or stopping over in Singapore for a night or two. Easy to get into the marina bay area with all the sight seeing and both night time light shows. Grab was the cheapest option and the metro was also onsite and super convenient to get to Chinatown"

"Great for solo travelers! The hotel’s main draw is its location. It’s located inside Funan mall. This means it’s across the street from Fort Canning Park, and walking distance to most major museums (National Gallery, National Museum etc) and also walking distance from Merlion, Singapore's River quays, and Chinatown. So, no shortage of food options. Also connected via underground to City Hall station, making it very easy to get around and getting to the airport. Cons: the rooms are rather small, and no fridge inside room. The floors have water dispensers and fridges for common use. If being inside a mall sounds too busy for you then that might be a con. Otherwise great location at a great price point! "
