“Property was basically a motel. Could use some spiffing up. You park right in front of your door so that is convenient. The bathroom ceiling had mold on it; otherwise the room was clean. The breakfast was store box donuts not from bakery section, toast, cereal or yogurt. The coffee was good and the hotel staff was friendly and they were there to fill the breakfast area as needed. The pool was outside and it was nice.”

“I love this stay. I stayed last summer, and would honestly say, of all the traveling I do, Alexander's Landing is a favorite. This last stay, in November was different and all related to the temperature of the room. The temp is controlled by the Nest system under lock and key. We were hot, uncomfortable sleeping hot. Since we were there for two nights, I requested that it get turned down or off. Get this, the same Nest controls 3 units. Although very gracious, our request was denied, because the……

“The property owner and staff were personable, attentive and responsive. Our cottage was perfect - plenty of room and the amenities were comfortable. We have stayed here in the past, and will continue to stay here on our visits to Monticello. Highly recommended.”

“My entire family enjoyed our weekend in the farm house as part of our adventure to see the eclipse. The kids loved the horses and the chickens. There were 9 of us (counting 2 small children), and we were very comfortable in the space.”

“We stayed at this property while in town for a Purdue college visit and football game. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was great and we would love to explore more during the summer when the weather is warmer and we could make more use of the lake. Some reviews commented on the hard water. And it was however the owner provided a water cooler with drinkable water which was appreciated. The house was spacious and fit our needs perfectly. Would definitely recommend!”

“Husband & myself relaxed alot. The kids and grandson did Indiana Beach, went across the street to the other resorts mini golf and arcade. Could of fished off of one of 5 piers. Maybe add a handheld can opener. Other than that, just come on down & do your thing!”

“The location of the cabin to the lake was awesome, each cabin had a patio with view of the lake as well as a shared patio with chairs and fire pit at the lakes edge.”
