A million star hotel with a custom shower... Once a bubbly town during the British era, the village of Agumbe is now almost abandoned with a population of around 500. It rests along the western coastal region of south India and receives one of the highest amount of rainfall anywhere in the world. One does wonder... would these be happening if the village had become a town?!!!!!.... This pic was taken near one of the many waterfalls in and around the area. Creekside cottages nestled in verdant hills
The property was in a hilly area called Horanadu and consisted of a series of cottages along the banks of a beautiful creek with plenty of flowing water. The main room of the cottage was clean and very functional. The back porch overlooking the creek had two reclining chairs and was an ideal reading ...
