"An amazing hotel where every little detail is perfect! The staff go above and beyond to make everything extra special - we celebrated a birthday and they were amazing! The food is some of the best we had while in Sri Lanka and so varied. We wish we could have stayed longer! "

"What a beautiful hotel / resort. To our surprise the beach water is unsafe for swimming but the pool makes up for it and then some. Beautiful grounds, had an elephant at the reception on the first morning before leaving for our safari. The buffet has a huge selection, also à la carte possibilities. We did a couples spa package and that was also great and not ridiculously priced. The only sad thing and this is no reflection on the hotel is that if you are going to Yala to see leopards you odds or very slim. There are way too many jeeps that even if a leopard was spotted you would probably not see it. "

"Wonderful hotel in a great location close to lake and ocean. We stayed in a jungle chalet which was spacious and well equipped. Staff constantly patrolling the area so very safe. We booked full board and all the meals were delicious and great variety. Danushka served us at dinner and breakfast and was charming and very attentive. "
