“The hotel and staff are amazing! They were so attentive to our needs and everything was so clean. The hotel had great communication with us through the Expedia app. We able to meet at a local temple for a late hour pick up. The drive in by jeep as the hotel is on the edge of the park! I can’t wait to go again!”

“We had a wonderful stay. We particularly loved the home cooked meals & beautiful landscapes. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They helped book our safari and packed us a breakfast to take with us for the day. I would definitely stay here again!”

“We had an excellent stay! Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and had everything we needed. They helped us to arrange safari, food and transport as well. The safari was amazing and our driver was the best! Food was also amazing. ”

“Hi, the property was nice, but in the middle of the rice fields. They did not serve dinner, so you have to take a tuktuk to town. The room itself was large and beautiful, but the AC did not work and there was no fridge in the room.”

“Vi brugte hotellet som base for en safari i Yala National Park. Stedet er familiedrevet og med en meget hjælpsom og omsorgsfuld ejerinde. Vores værelse havde udsigt over rismarkerne, hvor der altid var aktivitet, både af mennesker, dyr og fugle. Stedet er rustikt men med alle nødvendige faciliteter i god stand. Dejlig morgenmad, og vi kan endog anbefale stedets lokale aftensmad.”

“Cabanas located in trees - you are literally sleeping outside. Different experience, but nice. Be aware that animals may enter, and the river is very close by, so maybe not so good for people who needs complete silence to sleep. Staff very helpful and nice!”

“Great stay and great service. The hotel was overbooked, so our host went out of his way to find us a nicer room nearby. Also did the safari through the hotel - couldn't of asked for more!”

“Helpful pleasant staff, please clean your fridge in the kitchen. This is a pilgrimage destination, hotel caters for this.”

“First of all, when I went to 'Palugaha pilgrim resort' it was locked. Even the mobile was not reachable. I had booked this thro' Expedia. Fortunately the auto rickshaw driver was knowledgeable about the place so took us to a nearby place. This did not have any name but there was someone to entertain us. He claimed that was the Palugaha resort & also said there was no intimation from Expedia reg my booking. However, he was kind enough to arrange the room for us. After that, everything was fine.……

“Guy who worked here did not speak english at all. And we didnt get our room when we arrived because the owner said there was some payment problems even tho we showed the booking refrence.”

“As soon as we entered the lush garden of the hotel and parked our car under the fruit trees, we knew the hotel's high rating was well-deserved. The staff at the front desk and restaurants are friendly and helpful. The room is clean and very bright. The dinner and breakfast are delicious. ”
