蒂瑟默哈拉默旅館

「Vi brugte hotellet som base for en safari i Yala National Park. Stedet er familiedrevet og med en meget hjælpsom og omsorgsfuld ejerinde. Vores værelse havde udsigt over rismarkerne, hvor der altid var aktivitet, både af mennesker, dyr og fugle. Stedet er rustikt men med alle nødvendige faciliteter i god stand. Dejlig morgenmad, og vi kan endog anbefale stedets lokale aftensmad.」

「Majatalo oli pieni, siinä näytti olevan vain kaksi huonetta (jotka molemmat olivat isoja). Sijainti oli syrjäinen, mutta hyvä Yalan kansallispuistoa ajatellen. Syrjäisen sijainnin vuoksi oli käytännössä pakko syödä majatalossa. Sieltä sai ruokaa tilaamalla sen etukäteen. Ruoka ei ollut mitenkään ihmeellistä, esim. kana oli kuivaa. Huone oli hyvässä kunnossa. Se oli sisältä vähän pimeä, koska katossa ei ollut lamppua. Huoneessa oli useita pistorasioita, joihin sopi suoraan suomalaisetkin...

「Cabanas located in trees - you are literally sleeping outside. Different experience, but nice. Be aware that animals may enter, and the river is very close by, so maybe not so good for people who needs complete silence to sleep. Staff very helpful and nice!」

「basic guesthouse with 5 rooms and a communal room. bed was alright and came with clean bathroom. recommended to pay extra for the air con (which didn’t seem available as an option during booking) as it was really hot when we visited and the room was stuffy after awhile. (only reason y i gave a 4 rating as i was sweating throughout the night) the staff were great though especially Dhanushka who went all out to arrange a comfortable stay for us, including getting a beer and dinner for us. he...

「Hi, the property was nice, but in the middle of the rice fields. They did not serve dinner, so you have to take a tuktuk to town. The room itself was large and beautiful, but the AC did not work and there was no fridge in the room.」

「First of all, when I went to 'Palugaha pilgrim resort' it was locked. Even the mobile was not reachable. I had booked this thro' Expedia. Fortunately the auto rickshaw driver was knowledgeable about the place so took us to a nearby place. This did not have any name but there was someone to entertain us. He claimed that was the Palugaha resort & also said there was no intimation from Expedia reg my booking. However, he was kind enough to arrange the room for us. After that, everything was fine....

「It was extremely difficult to check out. They do not have the facilities for customers to use a credit card. The girl at the front desk is nice but she is over worked; she cooks, cleans, wait tables and acts as thr receptionist too. The room was not ready at 3:30. The owner does not have much understanding about working with Expedia.com. He spoke to me rudely on phone and I do not think he and his staff are properly trained in hotel buisness. It was a mess at the checkout time and they insisted...
