"I fell in love with this place the moment I walked in the door. We stayed here because our son recently moved to the area. Everything you could possibly want or need is provided. We were going to take our son & his girlfriend out for dinner but we decided to stay in & grill. We enjoyed kayaking, hiking, & just hanging out on the back porch by the water. We will definitely stay here again. Such a fun & relaxing weekend."

"The place we stayed at was a cute 2 bedroom house with a loft. They supplied a golf cart for riding around the community and going to the dock and lake. Everything was impeccable and the location was peaceful. We took advantage of the fire pit and I did some fishing from the dock. Beautiful view of the lake from the dock. We had an issue with the coffee make and it was replaced in 10 minutes. Great service. I recommend this getaway to anyone."

"The cottage and property were exactly as described. We were disappointed that we had no communication from the owner. The air conditioner did not cool the master bedroom. The door lock did not work. However, we would stay here again."

"North Georgia Roots is a comfortable, clean getaway which is secluded, but not far away from stores and attractions. The home itself is well-maintained with nice amenities. The guidebook is great for not only local fare, but also items in the home that might need instructions. Out in nature, but paved throughout made the drive easy. If you're looking for a quiet spot that still has access to shops and sites...this is the place."
